Housing and Local Government, Finance ministries launch i-Biaya to facilitate housing loans to B40, M40 groups

PETALING JAYA, April 14 — The Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) and the Ministry of Finance (MoF) today launched the i-Biaya initiative, as part of the government’s efforts to facilitate housing loans to the M40 and B40 low-income groups.

At the launch of the I-Biaya programme on Thursday (April 14), Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican said Syarikat Jaminan Kredit Perumahan Bhd (SJKP) had approved more than 12,000 applications with a total allocation of RM1.35bil from 2008 to February this year.
